What are the benefits of going to a ladies’ only gym such as W Fitness?

We provide a safe and comfortable environment for women to exercise without feeling self-conscious or intimidated. We pride ourselves on being a supportive, motivating, encouraging and friendly space where you can use our strength training circuit without intimidation, enjoy a fitness class and also have a good chat whilst you’re here too 😊.   1. Are you intimidated in a big gym? 

We are a small boutique gym and provide comfort and privacy. We provide a more private and comfortable space where you can exercise without feeling self-conscious or intimidated, meaning that you can concentrate solely on your workout.

  1. Do you lack confidence? 

Working out in a supportive and encouraging environment, where we are always on hand to help and advise, can help you to feel more confident in your abilities which means that you are more likely to reach your fitness goals. 

  1. Do you worry about what to do in a big gym? Are you using the right weight? Are you doing enough reps? How do you know when to change your programme? Will you achieve your goals? 

We provide personalised programmes tailored to your specific needs such as fat loss, toning, pre and post-natal exercise and menopause management, and we review your programme every month to keep it challenging and exciting and to make sure that you are still being challenged as you work towards your individual goals, meaning that you are not left on your own, trying to guess what you should be doing.

  1. How do you know if you are achieving your goals?

We offer measurement tracking including inch measurements, BMI, bodyfat and weight as well as checking your blood pressure every three months to make sure that you are still achieving your goals. This is a great way to see how your journey is progressing, and gives you the encouragement to carry on.

  1. Do you find big gyms lonely?

We have a great social network. We provide a sense of community and social support as our members bond over shared interests, fitness goals and experiences. It’s great to have a chat as you’re working your way around the circuit (and with us too 😊) and some great friendships have been made here. We have a great sense of camaraderie. We also offer great social monthly events where guests come in to talk about different things such as ‘how to manage stress’, ‘how to sort your life out’ and ‘group chakra balance’ to name a few, as well as running fun charity dances at Halloween and Christmas for our members to get involved with if they want.

  1. Do you feel out of control when it comes to your health and fitness?

We help empower women to take control over your health and fitness and to feel more comfortable and confident in your body. We offer help and advice on nutrition as well as exercise, starting slowly and building up, always at a level that is right for you.

  1. What do we offer?

We offer a 30-minute full body strength training circuit using hydraulic resistance training. This is all timed, meaning that you never have to wait for a machine to become free or have someone asking you how long you’re going to be because they want to use the machine that you’re on, so 30 minutes is just that, and you’re done! We use an online booking-in system so that you never have to wait when you get here – we also find that making a booking is good psychologically as you are more likely to come in for your session, which will help you to reach your goals.

We offer a variety of classes such as Zumba, Dancersise, HIIT Aerobics, Ab-Blast, BodyBlast, Boxing and Yoga to name a few, where you can have fun working out with other like-minded ladies in a motivational, supportive environment and enjoy some great music too!

Above all, we offer support and motivation to help you reach your health and fitness goals.

  1. What about when I’m not in the gym?

We promote a healthy way of life (not just 30 minutes exercise in the gym) and can help with nutritional and diet advice as well as support outside of the gym. You never have to be alone, worrying about what you should be doing or losing your motivation. We are here when you need us.
