W Fitness opened it’s first fitness facility in Horsforth, one of the most popular suburbs of Leeds to live in and visit – we certainly love it. Historically, Horsforth has a population of nearly 19,000 according to the 2011 census, and is thought to have had the largest population of any village in the UK during the latter part of the 19th century. It is a suburb within the City of Leeds metropolitan borough, West Yorkshire. Horsforth is home to many lovely bars and restaurants, including: the Brownlee Arms, named in honour of the Olympic medalists, the Bronwnlee Brothers; Bar 166; and The Old Ball. Horsforth also has it’s own museum: the Horsforth Village Museum, which shows the character and identity of the suburb perfectly. There’s the Horsforth Hall Park, ideal for a walk, jog, or sunbathe (weather dependent!), and of course, there’s also many lovely and unique shops too. Around our fitness facility there is ample free parking, as well as many amazing local businesses, including Emily Green Photography and Horsforth Hair Lounge.
